War Memorial Stifford Green


This memorial is in memory of the Stepney Boys who died in the First World War and stands on Stifford Green, Guardian Avenue RM16 5US


The memorial is octagonal with inscriptions on six of the eight faces. See inscriptions below.


During the Stifford Green development Persimmon Homes renovated the memorial and it was relocated to the Green at Stifford Green.


With the exception of Guardian Avenue the street names at Stifford Green have been taken from names on this War Memorial. Birchfield, Elvin Drive and Harrington Crescent.
