Experian information group named North Stifford Village in Essex (postcode RM16 5UF) as the most popular location on the housing market (2001).

Picturesque, low-crime North Stifford in Essex was named top property hotspot.

In February 2015 Thurrock was name Number One in the Top 20 Commuter Homes Hotspots.  It also boasts the Lakeside shopping centre, which opened in 1990, and Tilbury Docks were used to film boat chase scenes for Steven Spielberg’s third Indiana Jones film.
